Can't Elope?

Clever title huh? But this post has nothing to do with eloping. Anyway, I've decided that I'd try to keep up with doing my photo journal. I can't guarantee that I'll get a picture up everyday, but I'll try to at least get one every other day. Also, I'll try to put up some other work that I've done for my class sometime soon. So, for today's journal entry here is the picture.


It's cantaloupe! Ha! Ashley (my roommate) cut up some cantaloupe earlier today and I thought I'd take a picture of it. So there you go! :]

My mom sent me a karaoke mic last week and I got it on Friday, Let's just say this guy is finally getting a rest.


Tonight for FHE we went to our bishop's house and had dinner there. Our treats were s'mores :) So this is a picture of my s'more and my FHE bro's s'more as well :]

Every Saturday night some friends and I go to the BYUI-Center (or in tonight's case, the Hart) and play a sport. Usually it's basketball, but we switched it up a bit and played volleyball. This was the better picture out of the ones that I took cause you can see the ball and some hands in the corner.

My roommate has been working out like crazy lately and I'd decided that I'd start going with her and being moral support while also getting my workout on as well. I've gone to work out four days this week. I feel pretty accomplished. So here is a picture of my work out clothes and shoes just thrown on the floor...the way I feel after I work out.

So, these two guys are what I call, My Man Besties (Lloyd is on the left and Danny is on the right). They are the best. They came over tonight after a little Walmart trip and hung out for a few minutes. We played with my roommate's funky hats and took pictures...unfortunately I promised that only those present would be the ones who witnessed the hilarity.

So, I've had a thing for long necklaces for a while now and these three are my favorite. One is a robot. The other is a bird in a cage (it's got this really cool 3D look), and the third just has different little charms on it.



I also love Asian things...and my roommates know this too. So a couple of weekends ago my roommate went home to Utah and she went shopping while she was there. She came back with this surprise for me...I have no idea what it is, but I've recently decided I'd use it to hold my headbands and other hair accessories.

I took this picture on Sunday. It was while the sun was setting but unfortunately, there wasn't really that nice glow that we usually see. But this is Chelsey. I met her through my roommate and she is just so cute and funny! I love her!


I call this picture "Homework Party." My roommates and I usually have what we call "homework parties" and all that is, is we sit in the living room on our laptops or with our textbooks and do our homework....we don't usually get much out of it cause we're either talking to each other or we're on Facebook...I guess the screen on my laptop should've been displaying that instead...too bad that's a late thought.

So, every other Saturday we have a breakfast for dinner party at my apartment. Unfortunately, I didn't think of taking a picture of the food before everyone started eating, so the only picture I have is of the food after people had already dug into it.

Today...er...Yesterday (since it's like 2:30am) we had a ward activity at the sand dunes so I took my camera along since it would be a perfect time to take some pictures. And this is one of my favorites. These three girls are some important people in my life. I spend A TON of time with them. And so I thought, why not put them in my photo journal? So here they are. :]

Photo Journal Days 1 & 2

So, we're doing photo journals for our photo class (over the span of 2 weeks) and I kinda forgot to post yesterday, so here are the pictures from yesterday and today [unfortunately, not the best].

So, I was about to start eating dinner last night when I remembered I needed to snap a picture and what best opportunity than to take a picture of the junk college students eat! So, I snapped a picture of my microwaved burritos...not so creative, but hey, it's a college student's life.




Another aspect of a college student's life is the ginormous amount of homework that piles up! So, here is a picture of my textbooks...I've got homework to do in about maybe half of these books...and scripture study on top of it all.
